Hohner Clavinet D6
The Clavinet was initially created with home use in mind. But it quickly found its way into some of the most well known recordings in the history of pop and rock music. Each key on a Clavinet has a small rubber tip that directly strikes a guitar-like string, which is then amplified by the pickups. Because the keys make direct contact with the strings, fast rhythmic patterns are easy to play. The original Clavinet D6 had two pickups with a six-core design and pickup and filter selectors. This sound closely replicates all four pick-up variations and all of the possible filter combinations.
